LOUIS ROTH SUITS

Louis Roth learned his trade by apprenticing for a tailor in his native Poland. He had excellent skills and landed a job making mens clothing in Los Angeles and eventually went on to start his own company called Louis Roth Clothing. "My father, Harry, was Louis's only child and was a musician, says Michael Roth, "he was told he'd never make it in the music business so he came to work for his Dad. Harry Roth soon created the California look, clothing was made in New York, Philadelphia and Chicago and he wanted fabric and coat design that would stand out. "We had a special way of creating the shoulders – so they enhanced a way a man looked," says Michael. "One of our mottos was, "The most comfortable clothes you could wear," which they really were."
